Before Dawn is a book of prose poems written during a period of struggling to accept oneself.
It was shaped in moments of feeling lost, surrounded by judgment, and unsure of where belonging begins or ends. The pieces sit with fear, self-doubt, love gone bitter, and the quiet pressure to become someone else.
I dont think these poems rush toward resolution. They stay with the weight of things, observing, listening, accepting.
Somewhere in the middle of it all, small moments of resilience appear. Not as answers, but as reminders that staying, and learning to see yourself clearly, is also a form of strength.
